Importantly, their SLAs have not been breached during our time working together, which has given us confidence in their reliability.
The balance between services included within the standard offering and consultancy or project-based work has worked well for us. The standard service covers our core needs effectively, supported by an intuitive portal within MS Teams that allows us to log tickets, track issues, and manage remote workers easily. We also make good use of their expertise to support our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. More recently, YourIT introduced an automated service called Your Hub, which we now use for onboarding and offboarding starters, resetting passwords, managing mailbox permissions, email forwarding, and setting out-of-office messages. This has streamlined routine processes and reduced manual effort, while still maintaining appropriate controls.
We particularly appreciate the prompt cyber security alerts, especially given we have team members who travel abroad for work. These alerts strike a good balance, raising awareness without unnecessarily restricting usage. The additional cyber awareness training videos are a good example of this. While somewhat quirky, feedback from our teams has been positive, and the messaging has helped them identify phishing attempts more clearly. The monthly reporting is useful, and we value the flexibility Your IT has shown in tailoring their approach to match our requirements rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
