The Apple iWatch is still fresh from it’s release, and the first thing you will have to do to is pair it with your iPhone! Unfortunately, if you don’t have an iPhone, you can’t use the new iWatch, as they work together. You cannot have any of the older iPhone 4, 4s, 3’s etc, as the connection only works with iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, or 6 plus, and must have iOS 8.2 running. Apple has created an inventive system to pair the devices using a camera feature.
How to pair your iWatch & iPhone
1. Launch the Apple Watch App on your iPhone
2. Tap “start pairing” on the main screen
3. Hold the Apple Watch up to your iPhone’s camera so the screen’s in alignment with the yellow outlined box on your iPhone’s screen
4. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Apple Watch app
