The Leaked Windows 10 for Small Tablets Is Still A Work In Progress

April 16, 2015

Microsoft defines a ‘small’ tablet as a tablet with a screen smaller than 8 inches. More and more people now have smaller tablets because they are easier to carry around with you. The new Windows 10 Version for the Windows smaller tablets has been leaked but is still a work in progress.

Due to the smaller screen size, the smaller tablets won’t be getting the “Continuum” (desktop mode) feature. This means the Windows 10 will appear different than on bigger tablets, laptops, and desktops. Small tablets will have a closer affinity with Windows 10 for phones than larger tablets, due to Microsoft focusing on apps that run on nearly all of the Windows 10 run devices. This does mean that they will be limited to Windows Store apps.
