Your IT Department Ltd is a fast growing IT support and services company requires an IT Helpdesk Coordinator to join their fast growing IT services team. Reporting to the Service Director, you will be responsible for the customer facing and 1st line support role within the help desk. This is an extremely busy role, requiring good communication and organisation skills, you will be good at multitasking in a sometimes pressurised environment. The job involves ensuring that the helpdesk team is running smoothly with all problems being logged accurately and addressed in a timely manner. Responsibilities: – 1st Line Support for all internal and external customers – Coordinating with technicians and other staff members for day to day tasks – Ensuring the daily checks and tasks are completed – Communicating with customers by telephone and email – Registering all enquiries on their internal help desk system – Gathering all required and relevant information for each help desk task – Manage Priorities and Input into the technicians daily tasks Key Skills: – Excellent communication skills – Experience in a customer service roll – You will be computer literate, able to understand basic technical issues relating to networks and software – Confidence using Microsoft office – You will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks – Excellent, proven customer service skills – Team player – Ability to quickly understand complex procedures and work flows. – Strength of character to effectively manage varying expectations from internal and external customers.
