Linear have teams based in Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, and Sheffield and a dedicated construction recruitment agency in London. They serve Construction Recruitment and Property, Rail, Energy and Power, Trades and Labour, Design and Consultancy, and Industrial and Engineering recruitment sectors.
Your IT are specialist IT Support providers for the Recruitment Industry and have been providing Fully-Managed IT Support to Linear for some time.
These projects tend to involve evening and weekend work to ensure minimal disruption to the business. Whilst our IT expertise is of course vitally important, it’s organisation and coordination that are the key for any office move. This minimises stress for our client and ensures we can speak directly to 3rd parties if any issues arise.
We spoke to Head Office Senior Administrator of Linear, Rachel Smith, to get her thoughts on the project.
Who are Linear Recruitment and what do you do?
Linear Recruitment Ltd are a privately owned business specialising in Construction, Rail and Transport, Power and utilities and Industrial recruitment. We service all our clients by finding them the most suitable candidates on the market to fill their recruitment requirements.
How did you feel the consultation process prior to install was delivered by Your IT?
We had a very smooth process from the first consultation where Josh came to view the IT equipment that needed moving and accompanying me to various new premises to share his expertise right down to the quotation and planning – it was all very easy.
How did you find the technician delivered the project whilst on-site?
Very approachable and professional.
Did we communicate with you and the 3rd parties involved to ensure a smooth process throughout?
Yes, you also took the stress out of us communicating with 3rd parties by doing it for us.
Was the project delivered within the time frame you were expecting and how did you feel Your IT did to match your own time frame and requirements for the project?
Through no fault of the technician he wasn’t able to complete the full job on time. This was due to our managing agent telling him to put the equipment in the wrong port! He resolved this situation and ensured we were fully functional over the weekend.
Are you happy with the end result of the project delivered by Your IT?
Very happy with the project and continued service.
